THE EVENT: REGGIE’S SLEEPOUT
Sleep out to help end homelessness. Create a Team. Raise money. Build a box. Meet new friends. Share an experience you’ll never forget. Help Make the 2011 Reggie’s Sleepout the biggest yet!
Bring a box, pup tent (no stakes) or sleeping bag to Drake Stadium. You’ll be served food and drinks. (Outside food, snacks, gum and beverages will not be allowed.) There will be a lot going on. Activities, music, games and of course the Boxed-In Design Contest. The Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) Emergency Food Pantry will have bins available for the donation of non-perishable goods. Bring what you can, every donation is welcome.

Sleep out from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (activities 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.)

Hosted by Drake University at the Drake Stadium
27th and Forest, Des Moines, Iowa
THE WHY:
To raise awareness and money to address the critical problem of youth homelessness in Central Iowa.
All proceeds benefit Iowa Homeless Youth Centers and The Des Moines Area Religious Council.
Iowa Homeless Youth Centers is a community-based program of Youth and Shelter Services, Inc.
BOXED-IN DESIGN CONTEST
Here’s your chance to think out-of-the-box. Design and sleep in a box at Reggie’s Sleepout and you could take home the title. Participants will be designing their box exteriors at a special event during the sleepout. Bring your creativity!
